[FunOnTheNet] *WEDDING NIGHT OF RUMI*_*

Hi to all friends,
I was in Konya-TURKEY on17th of December to follow Sheb-i Arus ceremony (Wedding Night of RUMI with the Beloved)
which is the  738.th commemoration day of RUMI (Hazar Mawlana Jalal ad-Din Muhammad RUMI's passing from this world into the realms beyond)
I attached some photos taken by me and  recorded Sama of whirling dervishes for you..

At this night many sufi gatherings of various kinds are mentioning the name of this saint, praying that the blessings of God be upon his soul, and celebrating his "Wedding Night" by the "Whirling Prayer Ceremony" (Samâ`) of the Mevlevi ("Whirling Dervish") Sufi order, recitation of his poetry, and sufi prayer chanting, zikru 'llâh-- "remembrance of God."
The 13th century Mawlana Mausoleum, with its mosque, dance hall, dervish living quarters, school and tombs of some leaders of the Mevlevi Order, continues to this day to draw pilgrims from all parts of the Muslim and non-Muslim world. Jalal al-Din who is also known as Rumi, was a philosopher and mystic of Islam. His doctrine advocates unlimited tolerance, positive reasoning, goodness, charity and awareness through love. To him and to his disciples all religions are more or less truth. Looking with the same eye on Muslim, Jew and Christian alike, his peaceful and tolerant teaching has appealed to people of all sects and creeds.

Wedding Night
The day I've died, my pall is moving on - But do not think my heart is still on earth! Don't weep and pity me: "Oh woe, how awful!" You fall in devil's snare - woe, that is awful! Don't cry "Woe, parted!" at my burial - For me this is the time of joyful meeting! Don't say "Farewell!" when I'm put in the grave - A curtin is it for eternal bliss. You saw "descending" - now look at the rising! Is setting dangerous for sun and moon? To you it looks like setting, but it's rising; The coffin seems a jail, yet it means freedom. Which seed fell in the earth that did not grow there? Why do you doubt the fate of human seed? What bucket came not filled from out the cistern? Why should the Yusaf "Soul" then fear this well? Close here your mouth and open it on that side. So that your hymns may sound in Where-no-place!
