Meet Leo the albino echidna. The little monotreme was taken to Symbio Wildlife Park near Wollongong earlier this year after a family found him wandering through a carpark at Berry on the South Coast. 'He was very dehydrated and was way too young to be walking around on his own,'' park manager Matt Radnidge said. 'His spines were just starting to come through, and the fact he's albino would have really put him up against it in the wild because he wouldn't be able to hide from predators.'' Park staff nursed Leo back to health, feeding him a milk supplement that duplicated his mother's milk.
