*Nazca Lines*
The Nazca Lines are a series of ancient geoglyphs located in the Nazca Desert in southern Peru. They were designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1994. The high, arid plateau stretches more than 80 kilometres between the towns of Nazca and Palpa on the Pampas de Jumana about 400 km south of Lima. Although some local geoglyphs resemble Paracas motifs, scholars believe the Nazca Lines were created by the Nazca culture between 400 and 650 AD. The hundreds of individual figures range in complexity from simple lines to stylized hummingbirds, spiders, monkeys, fish, sharks, orcas, llamas, and lizards.

Nasca Lines
Nasca is a place of wonder. Only in the 1920s, when the first airplanes arrived in the region, the famous lines and animal images, that cover the entire pampa (flatlands) were discovered. Probably only because Peru is already blessed with one of the 7 world wonders with Machu Picchu, Nasca was not voted as such. It is, however, one of the most incredible creations of mankind. And it leaves generations of admirers including us to wonder, who made them, and how they did it and for what purpose.

The Huaca de la Luna (Temple of the Moon) is a pyramid of sun-dried mud bricks in the Moche valley in northern Peru near Trujillo.
It is smaller than the opposite Pyramid of the Sun (Huaca del sol). It is located at the foot of the Cerro Blanco by walls and consists of four interconnected pyramids and platforms that are available for four different periods (from 3rd to 8th centuries AD).The distance from the Sun pyramid is about 500 m. In this room there was the so-called urban zone with residential and burial sites.
The Huaca de la Luna measures 290 m x 210 m. She is best known for its colorful murals and friezes. The paintings and friezes depict mythological figures (myth),figures of animals and anthropomorphic creatures and suns, stars, floral andabstract motifs.
The Moche culture (after the river Moche, Mochica also) evolved from the first Century to the eighth Century on the northern coast Perus. She had as its successor, the Chimu culture, centered in the area of the city of Trujillo.
The Moche built with the two adobe pyramids Huaca del Sol and Huaca de la Luna, the biggest buildings of the ancient Americans. They still had no written, but have left their pictographic representations of a vivid picture of their world.
Researchers have found evidence of the death cult of the Moche. Accordingly, they left the dead rot in the open first, so that would be freed by the participating flying is the soul and could again go out into the world to them until after the burial with grave goods. Paintings suggest the researchers, suggest that the fly was also honored.
