A Norwegian diplomat Charung Gollar was asked to present the UN with a graphical representation

highlighting the main problems faced by the world in 2004.

He presented a set of 7 pictures entitled "The power of stars" and was applauded for the simplicity

of his idea.

In spite of having no pretension at all, his work was presented to participate for the Nobel Prize of

Political Marketing.

Dil mera tod kar ghar apna basayegi maalum naa tha,

Ab kya sunau us sangdil badzaat sanam ki dasta,

Shayad mere pyaar kaa yahi nazraana milna tha,

 

Tute huye sapno ko zod raha hoon,

Bikhare huye armaano ko samet raha hoon,

Puchhunga us khuda se milke apni galti kaa,

Kyun ek mohabbat ke liye main ro raha hoon,

 

Khud se hi khud ko bahla raha hu,

Us bewafa ki yaade mita raha hu,

Jo zakhm diye mere dard-e-jigar ko,

Us sine ko kabra me dafna raha hu,

 

Shaur naa kar ay dil wo bhi pachhtayegi,

Apne chaaq jigar ka wo bhi dikhayegi,

Hum to chup rah kar zindagi guzar degne,

Wo apne aansuo kaa shailab kaise rok payegi,

 

Taufaa pyaar kaa aisa mila,

Suru hua dard kaa siel-sila,

Chahat kaa anzaam kuchh to mila,

Ab naa raha zindagi se koi gila,
